• Polygon played a huge role in seeing Shiba Inu finally launch their layer 2 protocol. Before this massive support, Shiba Inu developers faced criticism for making a half-baked launch of the Shibarium. However, they made a relaunch, thanks to the massive support of the Polygon blockchain. 
• The support of Polygon’s core protocol team, including Krishna Upadhyaya, made the Shiba Inu team quickly rectify the issues. Moreover, the Shibarium is built on a Polygon’s fork. So, they had to rectify issues to get the ecosystem going. It is quite obvious that the Shiba Inu layer 2 protocol contains a beehive of activities. Already, the number of people making transactions on the layer 2 network is touching new heights. The number of active addresses on this network surpassed more than 400k. Moreover, the transaction volume on the newly launched layer 2 blockchain is more than 650k. 
• The total blocks on the network are already close to 400k. Furthermore, the average block time on this ecosystem is within 5.0 seconds. All these show how much of a success the Shibarium relaunch is after the huge involvement of the Polygon network. If the Shiba Inu blockchain becomes successful, it also benefits Polygon, as the Shibarium is directly under it.
