Bitcoin made it to a new high price once again on February 14th, 2021, reaching the price of 49,066$. This is the first time in the history of Bitcoin that the top crypto made it to 49,000$, which at the same time got the crypto closer to the mark of 50,000$. Bitcoin scored new highs more than several times since December 2020 and the beginning of 2021, introducing investors to an interesting and exciting year with some major returns. Bitcoin is currently trading below the ATH of 49,000$, but it is still keeping the price above the value of 48,000$ with the latest gains.
Bitcoin Scores a New ATH: BTC Gets Past 49,000$ for the First Time in History
About three hours ago at the time of this writing, Bitcoin made it to a new all-time high price of 49,066$, at the same time the highest price in the history of Bitcoin. However, the crypto dipped by nearly -1% since that point, now trading at 48,780$. Still, even with an hourly dip that brought BTC below its latest ATH, Bitcoin is showing daily gains by 3.5%. Bitcoin might have a chance to get to the price target of 50,000$ with the next bull run according to the present momentum and historical momentum. Bitcoin also seems to the pulling the rest of the market as well, as the top cryptos are equally bullish whenever BTC makes a radical movement. The current market cap dominance is 59% to the previous 57%, which means that BTC is rising faster than its crypto peers this time.
