Metamask, the popular non-custodial crypto wallet, announced that It will make it easier for US users to use their fiat to buy cryptocurrency. It was announced in a tweet that this was made possible through Sardine.
According to a blog by Consensys, the creator of Metamask, the new feature would allow users to buy crypto without any settlement delay. This is made possible with Sardine’s new instant ACH (Automated Clearing House network) integration. Regular ACH usually takes 1-3 days to complete. The fast payment method will also be available on holidays.
The only limitation is that each trader is capped at $3,000 daily. The weekly cap is $5,000 and the monthly is $25,000.
The blog also highlighted that ACH has a higher chance of working compared to a card which may be declined in 50% of purchases. Instant ACH also has a higher limit compared to cards.
The following video shows how easy it is to use the Sardine payment system.
