Elon Musk advertised the “Burnt Hair” cologne from The Boring Company in a tweet today, highlighting that customers can pay with Dogecoin.
“Best Scent On Earth” Will Cost You $100
According to Musk, it is “the best scent on Earth!” and costs $100 for customers in the US, including tax and shipping. Notably, at the current currency rate, this is a little over 1650 DOGE. The product will be delivered to interested customers in Q1 2023.
The fragrance will cause you to smell like you dined while leaning over the candle, according to the product description. Many find the context confusing, but some believe it to be the ideal follow-up to the “Not-A-Flamethrower” that the firm released in 2018, which sold out of over 20,000 pieces.
The Tesla Cyberwhistle sale, for which the business exclusively accepted DOGE payments, happened less than a month prior to the Burnt Hair perfume sale.
Notably, Elon is still in love with Dogecoin as a form of payment. Elon verified in a tweet that dogecoin could be used to purchase the scents.
10,000 Bottles Have Already Been Sold
Ten thousand bottles of Burn Hair have already been sold, according to Elon.
It’s important to note that DOGE increased by almost 8% after the billionaire placed the long protracted Twitter deal back on the table. The popular dog meme token is currently up roughly 2.81% and trading at $0.6062.
