On Oct 4, the Veefriends team announced that it is bringing its collection to life. The limited edition plush and figure collectible characters will be available at Macy’s and Toys”R”Us starting October 17.[i]
Veefriends is the brainchild of serial entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk, also known to fans as “Gary Vee”. He imagined, created, and drew all 268 of the characters. These characters represent human traits that Gary most admires. He believes that these traits will lead to happiness and success.[ii]

- The collection features plush and/or vinyl figure character sets designed by the London-based entertainment company, Toikido. Price range from $9.99 to $29.99.

Unlike their digital counterparts, you can hold these toys for a fraction of the price. The plush and figure collection will feature Common Sense Cow, Willful Wizard, Practical Peacock, Gratitude Gorilla, Genuine Giraffe, and Be The Bigger Person. The soft plushy toys will be sold for $24.99, while the figure collectibles for $29.99. Blind Boxes will also be available for $9.99. They are available for purchase exclusively at 400+ participating Macy’s and Toys“R”Us stores across the United States and online at Macys.com on October 17th. These adorable characters are made not just for crypto enthusiasts but also for kids and kids-at-heart.
Do NFTs like VeeFriends have a future?
NFTs are valued differently within the crypto community. Some value NFT’s as overpriced jpegs or gifs with no real value while some believe that NFTs have the potential to represent real-world assets like artworks and real estate.
DappRadar places Veefriends in the top 30 NFT projects. Veefriends sells on average of 8 ETH ( Ethereum) in secondary markets such as OpenSea, NFTmarketplace. The most expensive ones such as Empathy Elephant and Alert Ape sell for more than 100 ETH.[iii]
