The Shiba Inu community has been buzzing with excitement after new live views of Shiba Inu’s Metaverse were showcased at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas. The detailed video views of the WAGMI Temple Hub were shown after the release of the official movie poster by the lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama. This has generated a lot of anticipation and curiosity within the SHIB community.
However, Marcie Jastrow, the Shiba Inu Metaverse’s advisor, had an even bigger surprise for the SHIB army. Scorcia, a popular SHIB community member, revealed in a tweet that the SHIB Metaverse team had met with Ted Schilowitz, the futurist at American film production company Paramount Pictures, to discuss opportunities for collaboration. This news has fueled further speculation about a potential partnership between the Shiba Inu Metaverse team and Paramount Pictures.
Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Kusama, was quick to respond to the rumors, acknowledging Scorcia’s tweet with four “big eyes” emojis, indicating that he was paying attention and expressing interest and excitement. He also shared the picture of Scorcia with Schilowitz and commented, “probably nothing” – a phrase often used ironically in the crypto community to refer to potentially important developments. Kusama also added three hashtags #shibmetaverse, #shibarium, and #paramount to the tweet and shared a South Park GIF in which Randy Marsh says, “Maybe nothing, maybe everything.”
The GIF of the Shiba Inu chief developer has given the rumor greater attention and credibility, indicating that the community is eagerly waiting for more information about the potential collaboration between Shiba Inu and Paramount Pictures. The buzz generated by the news has only added to the growing excitement surrounding Shiba Inu and its Metaverse project.
On the Youtube conversation with Paramount’s Schilowitz:
We were sitting with the head of futuristics of Paramount Pictures and I am like we need to do a licensing deal, I got Rocket Pond coming up next, there are movies coming up next. We want you to jump directly in there. And they are all in. They are: ‘That’s a great idea.’
