A next-generation alternative trading system (ATS), announced that it has teamed up with Bittrex. Bittrex is a US-based digital asset trading platform, to offer a new innovative digital securities trading platform. At the moment Rialto operates a regulated ATS for trading fixed income products and if regulators give the green light, Rialto will expand its ATS operations to include blockchain based digital securities. Both Bittrex and Rialto are in advanced talks with regulators to launch the expanded platform.
Once launched, the expanded platform will be a combination of Rialto’s licensed broker dear, ATS’s tools and securities industry experience and Bittrex’s expertise in blockchain technology, and cybersecurity. Both entities, (Rialto and ATS) will be bringing various goodies to the table. Rialto will support US dollar fiat trading for digital securities while Rialto will provide services to the entire digital asset securities ecosystem, including issuance advisory services, placement, custody, and trading.
Rialto CEO, Shari Noonan, expressed his excitement and expressed his company’s desire to share its expertise in building networks and offering trading solutions in the securities industry. He also expressed his excitement on the partnership with Bittrex. He further stated that the partnership with Bittrex would lead to the expansion of their client offerings to not only feature digital securities but as well provide access to a globally advanced and reliable trading platform.
In his part, Bittrex CEO Bill Shihara remarked that building and launching an efficient, reliable and secure platform for trading digital securities needed a unique combination of advanced technology and financial expertise which would be hard to pull off alone. He, therefore, expressed delight with Bittrex having found a reliable partner to make this a reality. He went to add that the partnership would see the merging of Bittrex’s expertise in cybersecurity and the blockchain with Rialto’s deep knowledge of the securities industry. According to him, Rialto’s extensive background in financial services will help promote this project’s quest for mass adoption.
