CarVertical is a young Lithuanian startup that is establishing itself as a serious player in the world of connected vehicles. The startup is already beginning to show its scalability properties by building a proper car registry that enables car owners, and buyers to have authentic information about a vehicle. The latest product put out by the startup is an automatic parking payment app which will be available to download very soon. CarVertical’s IoT devices are easily installable in both old and new cars. The Lithuanian startup recently entered into a partnership with GPSWOX, a GPS tracking solution, after which they promised to design OBD tracker devices that would fit easily into almost any car.
The OBD devices would check desired parameters like GPS coordinates, battery level, and engine status and then send the data to GPRWOX internal servers which will act as a virtual odometer. Drivers will enjoy features such as the app timer. The app timer will begin counting as soon as a driver parks his car in a paid zone, with the timer stopping immediately the driver starts the car and drives off. This will lead to substantial savings in case a driver forgets to manually turn off the timer.
To benefit from the app, all a driver will have to do is install an OBD device, download the CarVertical.CITY app and beginning enjoying the various app functionalities such as battery level and engine status monitoring, as well as the tracking down of your car coordinates in case the car is stolen. CarVertical revealed that the CV token will be the primary payment method for the parking service in the app. This will be the first tangible use case of the ERC20 utility token sold by the company after it launched a successful ICO early this year.
