Finally, superblocks.com has launched its self-coined version of wordpress for blockchain. This comes after Thomas Buckland (CEO & Co-founder of superblocks.com) finished his five-year tour in the Swedish forest where he had camped and worked from a deep base to ensure that that the superblocks.com vision becomes a reality.
The launch comes barely days after superblocks received $ 1 million in seed funding from a blockchain investment company, Cryptowell. This goes to record as the second major investment in blockchain by the company after it previously staked its investment on Hiveoline- a financial trust company back in 2017.
Superblocks seek to revolutionize blockchain by empowering peoples’ visionaries of decentralized futures to build their thing by providing them with means by which they can bring their ideas to life. Its’ browser-based platform has completely simplified the process of building, coding, testing as well as installing powerful decentralized apps and deploying smart contracts.
“The superblock studio makes it much easier to develop dApps, but that is just the initial step for us. Moving forward, superblocks users will be able to effortlessly connect their dApps to cloud services which will grant them access to analytics, data storage and artificial intelligence which is not possible with blockchain at the moment. We hope people will be able to build decentralized versions of uber, YouTube and even maybe their entire nations on our platform” narrated Buckland during the release statement he gave on Wednesday.
Superblocks studio, which is also superblocks’ main editing system, has also launched an open beta platform. “The platform is already accepting Ethereum developers for a start but support for other blockchain currencies will be included in due course.” The statement added.
Speaking also during the launch, Hakan Birging- an investor from Cryptowell noted that superblocks has a great potential with a perfect timing. Cryptowell strongly believes that superblocks will eventually become the global ‘wordpress’ for decentralized apps.
