Binance has launched a competition on Twitter to reward the cryptocurrency community’s supporters with a sizable audience. Binance holds a competition called “The Community Showdown” in order to select the top three crypto projects to be listed on its exchange.
Tournament Specific Hashtag
Participants are required to develop a hashtag specifically for the tournament in order to demonstrate the power of the community. The hashtag will begin with Binance and must conclude with the token ticker, for as #BinanceBTC.
A $250 prize will be given to 60 contestants and the top 3 tickers with the most Twitter engagement will receive the spotlight. Based on the submission with the best idea, rewards will be given out.
Biggest Attractions to Investors Will Be Feted
The focus of the cryptocurrency market is on the winners who attract a lot of attention from investors, therefore this initiative by Binance seems to be self-promotional content. A larger fan base exists for some cryptocurrencies than others.
For instance, meme icons like Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and Baby Doge have sizable fan bases in comparison. Communities like Terra also have protectors who stand by them even after the catastrophic downfall.
Winning Communities to Be Notified Via Twitter
The winners’ community will receive a post on their Twitter feed announcing the prize distribution, and the first and second runners-up will receive a shared post. The contest will conclude on October 28, 2022, at 23:59. (UTC).
The winning cryptos will reveal a lot not only about the crypto projects but also the communities around them. Ethereum, Ripple, and Polkadot projects all enjoy huge fan bases. It will be interesting to learn which cryptos enjoy the most support because that may drive more developers to their projects and spur even more innovation.
