Reliable sources indicate that XRP will soon be enabling payments on Microsoft outlook. XRP which happens the third most popular crypto-currency after Founding coin Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), has been on the up and up over the last few months, sealing partnerships and making solid moves.
According to reports, Wietse Wind, the lead of Ripple-backed XRPL Labs, is all set to lend support to a project that will involve enabling XRP payments via Microsoft outlook. According to news portal, Oracle times, an independent developer known as SchlaubiD is integrating the XRP Tip Bot’s API into the mainstream email app an ad-on.
This move will allow XRP users to send crypto to anyone they please using outlook. Moneymessage is the AddIn for Microsoft outlook which will allow you to send XRP to anyone you choose through email. The official page of Microsoft outlook plugin says;
“MoneyMessage is an AddIn for Microsoft Outlook which allows you to append money in form of XRP (Crypto-currency) and send it to any mail receiver. A receiver doesn’t need an account or knowledge about Crypto-currencies. The amount will be deposited in XRPTipBot which allows your receiver to withdraw at any time. MoneyMessage has a strong focus on applications that simplify day-to-day work. People should not have to worry about technical implementations.”
XRP has been in the news quite often recently, notably when it was announced that Coinbase had added XRP to its platforms, and also when it was announced that Trust wallet- a crypto wallet owned and operated by Binance- had also added XRP support to their platform. After the partnership was made public, Trust Wallet had this to say;
“We are happy to announce that we are releasing support for XRP. A lot of you have been asking for this addition and going to back to our promise of adding the top 20 crypto-currencies, it was only a matter of time until we completed the Top 3 crypto-currencies by market cap with newly integrated XRP.”
These developments coincide with more positive news about XRP with Japanese internet giant GMO, operator of crypto exchange GMO Coin, released the results of a recent web questionnaire from January 30 to February 20 targeting 10,964 users.
According to survey results, roughly 50% of respondents named XRP as the crypto most likely to rise in price in 2019. The respondents cited high returns as the main reason for trading cryptos, while market volatility, crypto-currency itself, exchange security, and reliability were cited as sources of anxiety towards crypto. This newest development makes it easier to transfer XRP among which can only work to advance the case of wide adoption and real life use cases.
