Adult film star Brenna Sparks is now doubling as a crypto promoter as well as getting involved in various interviews and stunts that talk up cryptos. In an email that followed up a meeting with coindesk, she addressed the sideways crypto market at the moment by stating that “Traveling upwards doesn’t require the path to be linear. The path can be paved on hills, too.”
Sparks is a bit of a new face in crypto circles and is known as a contributor for Spankchain, which is one of the many projects that have launched ICOs and released tokens in a bid to disrupt the adult industry. Sparks talked up the idea of a decentralized internet in the coindesk meeting. Decentralized internet meaning, the coming of a time when the online intermediaries that we know of today such as Amazon, Facebook, and Google will be code owned by no one and operated by users.
She went on further to say that she didn’t believe in the ideas being fronted for adoption and was planning to go do her own thing which is to promote mass adoption. Sparks expressed a passion for wanting to keep people interested in crypto. For instance, before meeting up with Coindesk’s Brady Dale, she posted a cryptic video of herself in a black Ethereum-emblazoned Onesie on Twitter with the words “Probably the cutest thing that’s happening in ETH right now.”
Sparks doesn’t think of herself as a crypto expert or trader, but she sure knows a hell lot about crypto to convince you otherwise. The sexy adult star stores about 75 percent of her net worth in crypto and has revealed that she earns a decent living outside the crypto space. The fact that she earns well outside crypto according to her, has enabled her to be really aggressive when it comes to crypto investing without having to worry about short-sighted needs.
Her playful and provocative way of showing off her affinity to crypto has blended quite well with her work as an adult star and has served to pull in people to her body of work. Sparks reveals that she was introduced to crypto by her Ex-boyfriends who she frequently talks about in her videos. She also explains her problem with banks and why she loves the idea of decentralization.
Sparks just like other adult film stars has ran into trouble with financial institutions after they found out she was a pornstar. Her accounts got frozen once only for her to receive her money back 48 hours after posting her grievance on twitter. She is also on her third Instagram account after being kicked out twice for posting material that was a bit “too sexy”, joining a list of other adult stars that have been banned from social media for failing to understand rules concerning adult content.
Another reason why she is so into crypto is that she believes crypto needs a face attached to it and believes that she can be that face. Satoshi’s facelessness turns her off and Vitalik Buterin only seems to be reaching out to techies in her view. She also wants crypto to tie some of its loose ends and provide transaction security. She explained that she had a fear of losing money mid-transaction when she was new to crypto.
Her pro-crypto persona has earned her a bit of a distinguished profile compared to other adult stars, earning her the “Crossover Star of the Year” at the XBiz Awards. She has also expressed the desire to psyche up her fans by releasing Web3 inspired content such as Crypto Cosplay.
