- A new report shows a new metric in which the Cardano ecosystem beats the Ethereum blockchain. Although this metric might seem minor to many crypto enthusiasts, it shows the Cardano team’s dedication.
- Twitter analyst Ali shared a graph showcasing developer activity on Cardano and Ethereum networks. Apparently, Cardano developers spend more time developing their network than Ethereum.
- However, these stats don’t mean Cardano is better than Ethereum. In fact, data shows scanty usage of the Cardano network compared to Ethereum.
The Cardano blockchain is an ecosystem with the aim of changing many things in the crypto industry. The developer activity of the Cardano network shows huge commitment. In fact, Ethereum developers don’t stand a chance with Cardano. The IOHK team is the developer arm of the Cardano network. They received praise from famous Twitter analyst Ali, who said their developer activity is top-notch.
Cardano Beats Ethereum to Stupor in Developer Activity
Charts shared by prominent crypto Twitter analyst Ali shows the Ethereum network doesn’t stand a chance with Cardano in this metric. From January to the first of July, the developer activity on the Ethereum network stands at less than 250. This is very poor. Furthermore, the graph shows the number of developer activities on the Ethereum ecosystem won’t stand toe to toe with Cardano.
On the other hand, things look very good for the IOHK team. Apparently, the number of developer activities on the network maintains a consistent pace. In fact, Cardano developer activity continues to increase between January and the first of July. However, the only few times it had a decline was on the first of January at less than 250. Then sometime in April, it went below the 500 range. However, the latest data on the first of July shows a surge in developer activity above 500.
This is evidence that Charles Hoskinson and the IOHK team dedicate their lives to building their project. Touted as a third-generation blockchain, Cardano continues to reach new levels. Furthermore, the GitHub repository of Cardano is significantly larger than Ethereum’s. It is so large that Ethereum won’t enter into any competition. But the blockchain is different from real life. Apparently, the Ethereum network utilization is much larger than Cardano’s.
Cardano’s Utilization Rate Very Poor
Cardano usage stats are poor despite beating the Ethereum network in the number of blockchain activities. At the Cardano network, some things remain responsible for underutilization.
One of them is their overly cautious style of development. Hence, creating and launching projects and upgrades on the Cardano network usually takes too long. Also, the product image of the Cardano network isn’t strong. In other words, the number of users and supporters remains very poor. This proves that the Cardano blockchain fails to compete with Ethereum despite too much developer activity.
Wrapping up, there’s no doubt that the Cardano network developers spend much more time there than Ethereum. In fact, the numbers are so glaring that developer activity on Cardano is two times that of Ethereum. Nevertheless, Ethereum has more utilization than Cardano.
